A local Lancashire man has been told “not to cry” on the M6 after being stopped by police.
The man was driving without insurance and was disqualified from driving for a period of time.
It’s believed that the man was driving to West Yorkshire from Blackpool when Police tracked down the man driving illegally and stopped him.
Posting on Twitter, @LancsRoadPolice said: “If you’re disqualified & have no insurance then probably best not to drive a car with illegally spaced plate.
When you are inevitably stopped, don’t cry when we won’t take you home to West Yorkshire from Blackpool. Finally don’t call 999 for the same request #Team4TacOps“
According to the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994, the man was displaying an offence of ‘keeping’ a motor vehicle with registration mark failing to confirm with the regulations.
