Two Wigan teenagers caught with weapons face court

On May 19, Patrick Price, of West Street, Ince, and Miles Harris, of South Lane, Tyldesley, both aged 19, were caught with weapons on Smethurst Lane in Bolton.

The teenagers were seen carrying a knife an an axe.

They were each given a six-month prison sentence, which is suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty before Wigan Magistrates.

Price will do 100 hours of unpaid work and 10 day rehabilitation activity days and Harris must do 15 rehabilitation activity days.

They both have to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
