Hundreds flock to Menses Park for the annual Wigan Bike Ride.
This is the sixth year of the ride, which supports charity Joining Jack, which funds research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The course consists of 50 miles, with riders able to choose from a ‘hardcore’ or a flatter ‘highway’ route.
Among the riders was charity’s namesake, Jack Johnson, who completed the course before providing commentary on the returning riders.
Jacks family including dad and former Wigan Warriors player Andy Johnson, wife Alex and brother James also tackled the 50 mile Wigan bike ride.
The charity’s next event taking place in September will be the Wigan 10K.
