Cameron Archer has thanked North End fans following his loan spell with the club.
The 20-year-old forward arrived on loan from Aston Villa in January and it didn’t take long for him to become a fan favourite after scoring on his debut.
Six more followed from that point, including the match-winner in the Lancashire derby against Blackpool, which was voted for as Goal of the Season by the PNE fans.
Archer said: “I couldn’t thank them enough; I love them. Their support’s been amazing.”
“Every time they sing my name I get a smile, get a buzz in my heart. I’ve loved every minute and I couldn’t thank them enough.”
“Their support’s helped me a lot. It’s helped me become better on the pitch and it gives me that confidence, and I can’t thank them enough.
“Hopefully if I’m back or not, hopefully I can come back and score some more goals.”
